Volunteers

Volunteering is a great way of helping yourself whilst helping others. It helps you to:

  • Gain new skills and practice existing skills
  • Boost your CV
  • Use your time effectively
  • Meet new people
  • Help others

Volunteer Centre Slough has been successfully matching volunteers to suitable volunteering opportunities, so why not arrange a meeting with the Volunteer Centre for a meeting, during this meeting we will:

  • Give you information about volunteering
  • Help you search the database for a suitable volunteering opportunity
  • Put you in contact with the organisation you are interested in

If you are working with a volunteer, or if you're a volunteer yourself, we would love to hear from you...

  • How about sending us a great picture of one of your volunteers in action..and that picture may be posted on the front page of our website!
  • Tell us about your volunteering experience...and your story could appear on our website too!
  • Let us know if your organisation needs any more volunteers, and we will do our best to try and find a suitable volunteer for you!
