The LINK Centre for deafened people is the key organisation in the UK working with deafened adults and their families. Established in 1972 it has a national remit to support not only individuals who have lost their hearing but also their close family members.
Supporting deafened adults and their families locallly by offering practical support and information about living with acquires profound hearing loss. Must have experience of living with Acquired Profound Hearing Loss (APHL) either as a deafened person or the partner of a deafened person. |
