School Aid is a registered Charity that recycles British Educational Materials donated by Schools and public by sending then to suitable partner Schools and charities in eight Afican countries.
The Packer /Sorter will be part of a small friendly team based at our warehouse sorting books and other Educational Materials and Packing them into Boxes ready for onward shipment to ready School Chidren in eight African Countries.
Training will be provided.

Key Tasks:

Regular -
Locate/select books or other items from incoming donated stock
Identify where possible the donor/s of the selected items
Sort books into sets for appropriate school age groups, i.e.  pre-school, primary, secondary, A Level, university
Pack sorted books/items
Complete straightforwsrd labelling and documentation to identify/record box contents
Stack packed boxes onto designated pallets

Periodic-
Assist with the packing, wrapping and labelling of pallets for container shipment
